Its interesting how our resting heart rate helps us determine our training target rate, so this way we know how hard to push ourselves without over doing it.

There are sensors that you can use to check your pulse, but being able to manually check your pulse is something you can do during exercise, everyday life, or in emergency situations.
ReplyDeleteThey make an app for taking your pulse with the camera of an iphone, but it only works outdoors in bright sunlight because it measures the amount of blood in the finger by sensing the color of the finger pressed against the camera's lens.
